WELCOME BACK YOUNG DOCTORS!!

We all hope you had a great summer. This term we will be learning about GLOBAL HEALTH. Sessions will focus on global health disparities, culture and health, globalization technology and health, oral hygiene and global health, infectious diseases including HIV/AIDS and parasitic infections and many more interesting topics. We will also be getting involved in a service project to give back to the community and abroad. We can’t wait to see everyone!

On Sunday June 14th, 2015, the Young Doctor’s Club would like to invite you to our Mini Health Fair!!!

Come get your blood pressure read, glucose checked, and learn about high blood pressure, diabetes, sports injuries, dental trauma, smoking/alcohol and muscle weakness!!!

We will not be having Young Doctors tonight, Friday August 30th because of the Labor Day holiday. We will continue our Nutrition module on Friday September 6th. Enjoy the long weekend!

Welcome back Young Doctors! This Friday is our first official meeting for our Nutrition/GI unit. We will be starting off with a photovoice project, which will involve taking a small field trip around the North Lawndale community. So get excited and we look forward to seeing all you again!
